Rowena’s Bedroom – Night
Rowena lay in bed on her side. She turned to roll on her back and looked up at the ceiling in a blank stare. In one quick sweep, she threw the covers off and got up.

Rowena’s Kitchen – Moments Later
She opened the door to her refrigerator and pulled out a pitcher before reaching in the cabinet above her for a glass. She poured some liquid from the container into the glass and returned the pitcher to
the refrigerator. Grabbing some ice from the freezer, she dropped it into the glass and left the room with cup in hand, her face expressionless.Cut to:

Rowena’s Living Room Window – Same time
Taking a sip, she walked over to the window. After pulling the curtain back, she looked out across the lake with a weepy expression before taking a deep breath and blowing it out slowly.

Watchers Council Building – Same Floor – Same Time
From her window, right next to Rowena’s Apartment, Willow stood in her pajamas looking out over the lake with a similar sad expression.
Cut to
Ext.
Alley – Night
Kennedy walked along a vacant street, stake at the ready. With a peculiar look, she turned around to see a young woman standing at the other end of the alley before vanishing. Almost as if appearing in pain, Kennedy closed her eyes.
Flash to:
A human torso being struck with an ax.
Flash to:
An image of Xander yelling at someone.
Flash to:
A leg that’s been separated at the knee.
Flash to:
A demon coming up behind to strike Willow, who is wearing a bandage on her forehead.
Flash to:
Two decapitated heads rolling to a stop to reveal the faces of Xander and Willow.
Flash to:
A highway roadside where two bodies appear to lie in various parts and a third split in half.
Flash to:
A pan shot of the third body, ending with its head, which is revealed to be Kennedy’s.

Kennedy’s Bedroom – Same Time
Kennedy’s eyes shot open, and she bolted upright from her bed to look around the room. Her clock read 5:07 A.M. She ran a hand over her sweaty face.
Breathing hard, she collapsed back to the pillow, staring in shock and fright.
